Maia’s Whimsical Adventures

Maia's Whimsical Adventures is a self-published series of children's picture books for ages 3–6, illustrated entirely with my photography. Each rhyming story closes with an illustrated field guide naming the insects, animals, and wildlife hidden in its pages. Five books are published, with more on the way. Member, Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators. The stories are all based on my pet Havanese dog, Maia, who loves to explore the world around her.
